  15. YOU ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE AT LEAST VERSION 2.05 of Rogue Spear
  16. installed on your machine to use NATO v3.0

  21. INSTALLATION
  22. 1. Launch the NATO3_v300_Installer_for_UO.exe or NATO_v300_Installer_for_RS.exe file. Please tell the installer where your Rogue Spear is installed. (Just like the patches do). NATO 3 does not work with Rainbow Six or Eagle Watch.

  24. TO PLAY ( with Rogue Spear )
  25. Either double-click the "Run NATO3.bat" in your Rogue Spear folder or create a shortcut to your RogueSpear.exe file, right click it and select properties and add "-mods NATO3" (without quotes) to the Target field. Mine looks like this "D:\Games\Rogue Spear\RogueSpear.exe" -mods NATO3

  28. TO PLAY (with Urban Operations): 
  29. Run Urban Operations and enable the NATO 3 mod! Make sure you disable primary and secondary weapons!! You will still get the same number of weapons in the mod as before.

  31. MULTIPLAYER
  32. This MOD will work in multiplayer as long as EVERYONE in the game has this MOD installed.

  34. The Zone and MPlayer don't properly support mods so you will need a special program such as the 2Mad launcher to use these services with NATO 3. iCode web site: http://www.surfhouston.com/iCode/

  36. INTERACTION WITH OTHER MODS ( not for Urban Operations users )
  37. NATO 3 doesn't play well with others. There are two files in particular that NATO 3 overwrites so that it can work. This means that other mods that use these files won't work correctly. If you want to switch to another mod, uninstall NATO 3, then reinstall the other mod. Yes, this is a pain, but it's a restriction imposed by
  38. the current version of Rogue Spear (2.05). The "mod" folder doesn't work as well as we'd all like.

  40. * The Urban Operations version of NATO 3 does not overwrite these files.

  42. UNINSTALLATION
  43. 1. If you want to uninstall NATO 3 and remove it's files from your Rogue Spear folder, run the "Uninstall NATO3.bat" in your Rogue Spear folder.
